AdventurelandAn online advert for Disney's Adventureland movie has been banned because it showed a woman with the caption 'lift my shirt to see more' over her breasts.

The woman in question was wearing a white T-shirt and, if the viewers so wished, they could click on her chest to attempt to reveal her naked bosom.

We wonder which creative genius came up with this classy concept.

Watchdogs cracked down on the ad after a viewer complained it encouraged users to lift the woman's shirt "in a voyeuristic manner" and also argued children could easily see the advert.

In defence Disney said the campaign was not offensive, arguing: "ads featuring womens' breasts were fairly common and that such images were used in many publications aimed at male audiences and were tolerated by the general public".

A spokesman for the Advertising Standards Authority told the Telegraph: "We noted, although the woman's breasts were obscured by a black rectangle, this was not apparent until the user had already taken action.

"We acknowledged that the film was about the experiences of a teenage boy before he went to college, but noted removing the woman's top had no direct link to the content of the film trailer that followed and was therefore gratuitous."

Looks like Disney's attempt to be edgy with this ad backfired. However, the trailer to the film is still pretty good, check it out below:
