CHART TOPPERS
Robbie Williams is celebrating his first solo UK number one hit for eight years with 'Candy' topping the official singles chart.
It is the 14th number one of his career - including with Take That - meaning he has drawn level with his friend and bandmate Gary Barlow, who co-wrote the song.
Some 137,000 copies of 'Candy' were sold this week according to the Official Charts Company, making it the fastest-selling single by a male artist this year.
The track is from his new album 'Take the Crown', which is released today.

GIGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
It's that time of year when tickets for festive gigs start to be released and first up is Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball. It's a pop-lover's perfect Christmas present.
Cheryl Cole will perform at the Jingle Bell Ball
Cheryl Cole has just been confirmed for this year's lineup, alongside Bruno Mars, One Direction and Little Mix. The event takes place at London's O2 Arena on December 8 and 9, the same dates as the 'X Factor' final. If you do go along, make sure to take some ear muffs, not just for the cold, but for all of those screaming teenagers.
